The terms you agree to when using Score My Trip

Acceptance

By using Score My Trip you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the product. These terms apply whether you use the free introductory audits, the paid Standard tier, or (when launched) the Premium bundle.

What the service is

Score My Trip reads your travel package or your DIY plan, runs a deterministic rule audit, and returns three things: a set of specific findings about your plan, a list of operator questions you can ask before paying, and a cost benchmark for the destinations on your trip. The audit is intended to help you make a better-informed decision before you commit money.

What the service is not

Score My Trip is not a booking platform. We do not sell trips, hold inventory, or take commissions from operators.

Score My Trip is not a trip planner. We do not suggest itineraries. We do not recommend operators or destinations.

Score My Trip is not a predictor. We do not claim to know what your visa officer will decide, how your specific trip will unfold, or what your operator will do after you pay.

Score My Trip is not a chatbot or open conversation. The audit reads what you uploaded and returns a structured report.

Score My Trip is not legal, financial, or medical advice. We cite consumer-law facts where relevant. For a real legal question, talk to a lawyer. For a real financial question, talk to a financial adviser. We are an evaluator, not an adviser.

Pricing

During our introductory launch window the Standard audit is free. After the introductory window ends the Standard audit is priced at ₹899 per audit. A Premium bundle is planned at ₹4,000 per thirty-day trip window, with additional features including re-audits when your operator returns a revised quote. The introductory window flips off either after three calendar weeks from launch or once a milestone of completed audits is hit, whichever the founder chooses to use as trigger. We will give clear notice on the site before the flip.

All prices are inclusive of applicable Indian taxes unless stated otherwise on the checkout page at the time you pay.

Refund policy

We offer a refund for any paid audit you are unhappy with, provided you write to us within seven days of payment. We will refund the audit fee to the original payment method.

The refund is unconditional during this period. You do not need to justify the request beyond a one-line note. We would appreciate hearing what went wrong so we can improve, but it is not a condition.

For Premium bundles, the same seven-day window applies from the date you start the bundle. Refunds for partially-used Premium bundles are prorated at our discretion based on how many of the bundled audits you have already run.

Fair use and rate limits

During the introductory free window we cap usage at three audits per IP address per twenty-four hours, raised to ten if you share Score My Trip with three friends via the share form on a results page. We also enforce a daily cap on total free extractions across all users so that the introductory window stays available for everyone. If the daily cap is hit you will see a notice asking you to come back the next day.

Automated scraping of the product, reverse engineering of the rule library, or any attempt to circumvent the rate limits is prohibited. We may suspend or block IPs we believe are engaged in abuse.

Disclaimer

Audit findings are guidance, not guarantees. A finding that your package may be priced above the market median is not a promise that you will be refunded the difference. A finding that a contract clause is operator-favorable is not a legal opinion on enforceability. Use the findings as a starting point for the questions you ask the operator and the decisions you make.

Our cost benchmarks are estimates derived from public data sources (Booking.com sampling for hotels, Numbeo for local costs, Rome2Rio for inter-city transport). They are not quotes. The market shifts; our benchmarks shift with it but there is always a lag.

The product is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the audit will identify every issue with your plan. We do warrant that the rule engine is deterministic and that the same input produces the same output.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to your use of Score My Trip is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or ₹2,000, whichever is higher. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of trip plans, cancellation fees with operators, or any decision you made based on an audit finding.

Your content and our content

You retain all rights to the travel package or plan you upload. You grant us a narrow, non-exclusive license to process that content for the sole purpose of running your audit and storing it in your audit history if you choose to save it. We do not claim ownership.

Our software, our rule library, our cost knowledge base, the wording of our findings, and the design of this product are ours. You may not copy them or use them to build a competing service.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the product at any time. You may ask us to delete your account via the email address below; we will comply within thirty days. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, attempt to abuse the service, or use the product in a way that exposes us to legal risk.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the product is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under Indian consumer-protection law.

Changes to these terms

We will update these terms when the product changes materially. Material changes will be announced at the top of this page and in a short note next to the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the product after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
